I originally made the background of this 2011 collage for panel 5 of my single-page comic In the Clouds that was self-published as part of Momentos. The figure is one of many blind-contour drawings I made for my comic Flying Solo. This one appears in panel 2 on page 6.
I drew this while looking in the mirror, so I flipped the image in the comic book panel in the computer to make sure my character was drawing with his right hand. I also added the print on his t-shirt digitally to match the image in panel 1.
