The figure was drawn for panels 1 and 2 on page 7 of my 2009 comic Flying Solo. The boxers were drawn for panel 5 on page 16 of my 2010 comic Martian Debut. The images were collaged together in 2011.
I don’t remember why I blackened out the boxer on the left for the collage. I prefer how the original artwork appears in the comic.
I added the red in 2015 and tried to double-down on the silhouetted boxer. I still think I could have done better with this one.
