This is Jelly Bear, a character inspired by the 1988 version of The Blob, a remake of the 1958 American science fiction horror film of the same name. I added some digital shading to Jelly Bear for the comic to give him an otherworldly appearance.
The image of Jelly Bear used in this 2011 collage was originally made for panel 3 on page 47 of my 2009 comic Super Duper Ham: Day One.
I added the blue and red paint (and some more white paint) in 2015.
