The camel was originally drawn for panel 7 on page 10 of my 2010 comic Martian Debut. The pyramids were drawn for panel 4 on the same page. The landscape for panel 1 on page 8. The mountains behind them were drawn for panel 5 on page 4.
The painted drawing they were all collaged onto in 2011 was originally made in 2003. I think the collage hides an early sketch for panel 2 on page 16 of my 2009 comic Flying Solo.
I added the yellow paint in 2015.
