Previously known as the Burj Dubai, this tower is a skyscraper in Dubai and the tallest structure and building in the world. The tower and the city around it was originally drawn for panel 3 on page 10 of my 2010 comic Martian Debut. The mime was drawn for panel 7 on page 11 and the hooded figure for panels 1 and 2 on page 18.
The three images were collaged together in 2011 on a print of a digital collage I made in college, in the late ’90s.
I added the yellow and red paint in 2015.
