This image of Charles Darwin was originally drawn for panels 2 and 3 on page 11 of my 2010 comic Martian Debut. The Martians were drawn for panels 1, 3 and 5 on page 4.
The tiger-headed figure was made as part of a collage around 1995. I made a series of quick self-portraits for a photography class in collage and reworked this image several times in the following years.
This final collage was finished in 2011.
