Utopian Musings tells the story of an immigrant family through three generations. Carlo Ribera writes poetry to process his lift experiences and to understand those of the people around him. When his grandson Guillermo mysteriously gains superpowers, Carlo’s poems document the boy’s attempts to help a friend who becomes the target of racial violence.
