This was my first, what I considered to be mainstream, convention. It was smaller than MoCCA Arts Fest, but I started to see how my stuff resonated with readers that may focus most of their attention on MARVEL and DC comics.
This was my second show. I had three comics for sale, including the recently completed Martian Debut, and a sketchbook. This also marked the first appearance of my convention table cloth, which would continue to adorn my table for the next 3 years.
This was my first show ever. I had a bowl of candy to draw people over. An, I’ll call him and unsupervised child, decided to loiter around and tried to eat most of it, so we had to hide it under the table. Christine Lee, who designed the logo for Sketches and Streams, was nice...
